W12P Week Three Review Well, well. Who would have thought it but just two weeks after Wales and one of the only UK weekly radio shows dedicated exclusively to the Eurovision Song launches Welsh girl Bonnie Tyler lands the job of representing the UK with arguably the strongest UK entry since Jessica Garlic at Tallinn in 2002 (oh, it seems like the Welsh are boasting now). What was no coincidence however was the reaction that we received locally, nationally and internationally from newbies to the Eurovision scene through to old timers (that includes me of course) to Balkan Night that we broadcasted last week ahead of getting stuck right into the new stuff and the 2013 Malmo hopefulls.
W12P has so many people to say 'hi' to and thank for their help and support as well as the most important people who are, of course, our new band of listeners - Diolch yn fawr - we would like to extend a special thank you to Oystermouth Radio in the village of Mumbles, here in Wales for giving us the platform with particular thanks to Grant Eden and Michael Kennedy.

The Eurovision community is a friendly one and we made lots and lots of friends in our first couple of weeks on air including Jake from SINE FM in Doncaster, who runs a weekly radio show there on Saturday mornings and David Mann who fronts a cracking Blog site called Eurovision Norwich with loads of photos of Eurovision contests he has attended himself, along with his own weekly written updates and the opinions of others on the Blog sites Guestbook and now we learn a weekly podcast so now you can hear the man himself.
Finally, we made friends with J.P from Radio International who is a top, top guy running a buzzing outfit over in the Netherlands which goes out live on FM at 8.00p.m CET (7.00 p.m GMT). Radio International is a three hour Eurovision packed experience and you can download the show Podcasts easily from the Radio International Website. J.P conducts interviews with lots of different Eurovision linked celebrities and personalities old and new and is just about the ultimate Eurovision radio experience.
OK, so that's the Week Three review and we look forward to whacking out news on our Week Four show as soon as we get.
